Dining
For a unique and memorable dining experience, Sevastopol has a variety of restaurants, which include Ukranian, European, Chinese, Italian, Mexican, English, and Armenian decors and cuisines.
When you wait for your food to be prepared by a master chef, relax and enjoy an Inkerman vintage wine. The, “Organization of Grapes and Wines of Paris”, awarded, “Inkerman Winery”, the recognition of being one of the elite wineries worldwide.
Traditional Ukranian food is prepared from produce grown on the rich Ukranian soil. A typical traditional meal begins with Borsch, soup, seasoned with spices, sour cream and vinegar, followed by a main course which may include Vareniki – an array of dumplings stuffed with potatoes, mushrooms, meat of your choosing, fruits, and or cheese, Golubtsy (cabbage rolls) - cabbage leaves stuffed with rice, meat, carrot and fried onions, served with sour-cream. Fresh pork, chicken, beef, fish, and jellied meat complete with horse radish.. Deserts include fruit, pastries, yogart, or ice-cream .
I highly recommend the Tractir restaurant located in the centre of the city with stylish Crimean war décor, and waitresses outfitted in sailor uniforms. The special dishes are named after famous Crimean war veterans. They are reasonably priced, and a dinner for two will cost you about 80 grivnas, ($15.00 US).
I suggest you try the posh Rybatsky restaurant, where you can order the usual European dishes, and a wide assortment of seafood. You can watch a stage show, and /or visit the games room. A modest meal will cost you 100grivnas for a couple, ($20.00 US).
A number of Italian Restaurants offer multi topping pizzas, steak, ribs, salads, and deserts at reasonable prices. A pizza and salad for two will cost you approximately 50 grivnas ($10.00 US)
You can depend on elite Chinese restaurants to offer you a wide assortment of tasty Chinese cuisine. They will impress you with a heart warming welcome and prompt friendly service. You can dine for two for 150 grivnas, ($30.00 US).
